Wellford Holdings Limited (“Wellford”), a UK-headquartered alternative medicines company with international production, manufacturing and distribution operations, today announced the launch of its Wellford Aqua pastille range in Australia. The six products – three formulations in 30 and 60 pastille packs – are now available to Australian pharmacies through distributors Leafio and Canview.
The pastilles are manufactured at Wellford’s EU-GMP Certified facility in Nova Scotia, Canada, which harnesses the power of aquaponics and 2,500 Koi fish to cultivate organic medication that is naturally free from synthetic fertilisers and pesticides.
EU-GMP Certification is recognised internationally as one of the most rigorous quality standards for the manufacture of medicines. The Certification confirms Wellford’s production processes, quality controls and facilities meet stringent requirements designed to ensure consistency and safety throughout the manufacturing process.
The facility is also Clean Green Certified®, recognising cultivation practices that prioritise natural growing methods, environmental stewardship and product integrity. Combined with EU-GMP Certification, this clean and organic approach ensures quality and sustainability are embedded throughout the supply chain, from cultivation through to processing and production and to the medical patient.
